Celebrating Christmas in OZ!

My 1st Christmas . . . .

Mom & Dad took us to Indooroopilly Mall to meet Santa last week. I thought he was a pretty nice man and was pretty cool with getting my picture taken. Mom & Dad keep telling me this isn't a typical Christmas, even though it's all I know. Although mom is happy not to have to bundle me up in the cold weather, I can't wait until next year when I can experience and see snow for the first time!

I'm 8 weeks old . . .

and ready to hit the beach!! Check out my stats from my 8 week appointment over in the right-hand column. I am currently weighing and measuring in bigger than my big brother was at my age (and everyone thought Evan was a big boy!!) The doctor just kept saying "he is a well-fed boy" when we went to see him yesterday. I have been busy being spoiled by G & G Perry and like getting lots of extra attention . . . even when I cry and cry and cry!

MY first kangaroo encounter

I'll be 6 weeks old tomorrow and I've already experienced MY first close kangaroo encounter! We went out to Lone Pine this weekend to take some pictures for Christmas and I got to get close and personal with some of these big creatures. (I look really excited don't I??!!)

First Milestone . . .

I'm 4 weeks old today! Wow, how the time has flown. It's been a rough month but we are adjusting as a family. I can't wait for the next 6 weeks though . . . I get to meet all of my grandparents as they are coming to Australia for a visit. I'm sure I'll be nice and spoiled by the time they all leave!
